Motivating Students to Excel
Hundreds of ODACS students diligently prepare and enthusiastically compete in the annual ODACS Competition. For more than 40 years, the competition has helped young people to develop their talents to the fullest of their God-given potential. Many former competitiors point to ODACS competition as one of the things that God used to guide them into their current ministry or career. The month of March is taken up with competition events, but the preparation and excitement run year-round. If you've never been to ODACS Competition, you don't know what you're missing!

Purpose and Philosophy
The purpose and philosophy of the ODACS Bible, Fine Arts, and Academic Competition are rooted in the Christian education objective of helping students to follow the example of our Savior who "...increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man" (Luke 2:52).
- The purpose of the ODACS Bible, Fine Arts, and Academic Competition is twofold. First, it is to give Christian school students an opportunity to discover their God-given talents and to develop them to their fullest potential. Second, it is to encourage students to surrender those talents to Jesus Christ for a lifetime of service to Christ in the local church and in all other aspects of life.
- The philosophy of the competition is also twofold. First, it is to strive toward the purpose by using competition as a tool to motivate students to achieve excellence. Second, it is to recruit born again judge who will honestly and Biblically evaluate the students' performances in a way that will encourage students toward fulfillment of the purpose.
