AACS Youth Legislative Training Conference
The following four ODACS high school students were awarded scholarships to attend the AACS Youth Legislative Training Conference in July.
- Adam Burton, Great Hope Baptist School
- Chelsea Conrad, Lighthouse Baptist Academy
- Oliver Klein, Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy
- Kyle Mathena, Heritage Christian School
The conference lasted more than four days and included a mock Senate, a Capitol briefing with visits from several members of Congress, a monument tour, and opportunities to visit with several Virginia lawmakers in their Washington offices.
